Aunts and uncles end up buying for a lot of birthdays, and a gift card is usually the right answer for the niece who changes favorite stores every month or the nephew who only wants game money. This makes the gift card look like you planned it weeks ago.

It's shaped like a wrapped present standing on the table: a red ribbon across the front, stars engraved around the edges, "Happy Birthday" on the top half and Cousin, Niece or Nephew right below. The gift card sits down inside the bottom half. Lift the top of the present off along the ribbon and there it is.

Pick the topper that rises from the top: balloons, party hats, a car, tools, a crown or a red bow. Party hats for the little ones, a car for the new driver, a crown for the niece who already knows she's the favorite.
