Winter Mitten Gift Card Ornament | Christmas Gift Card Holder | Handmade Wood

A mitten with a greeting on the cuff and a gift card tucked inside, ready to hang on the tree.

Gift cards are the easiest thing on the Christmas list and the hardest to make feel like a gift. This one shows up already dressed for the season.

Each mitten has a holiday greeting engraved across the cuff, like Warm Wishes, Season's Greetings, Merry Christmas, Frosty Greetings or Happy Holidays, and a winter scene cut out below it: pine trees under a crescent moon, a snowy cabin, a snowman in his top hat, a reindeer, or a Fair Isle knit pattern. The cutouts sit over a painted backer in teal or green, so the scene shows up from across the room.

The gift card slides inside the mitten, out of sight until they go looking for it. A ribbon hanger, wooden beads and a little bow finish the top, so it can go straight on the tree, tie onto a package, or hang from a stocking.

It's made for teachers, coworkers, neighbors, the mail carrier, the babysitter, and every name on the list you want to get right without overthinking it. Need more than one? We're happy to help with team and office orders.

Cut from Baltic birch and finished by hand in our small family workshop, one piece at a time. Slight variations are part of what makes it handmade.
